The problem this person had is kind of different than the one you have (I think) but the same rules apply. Basically you have to go into this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\MilkShape 3D 1.x.x
Then delete all files with ".cfg" this will set all milkshape settings to default. But just delete the .cfg files or else you'll lose custom settings! Hope this helps!

this problem is easy to solve, just Viewport caption and u'll see the numbers aren't as it used to be
