Vegas Pro 10 effect help! PLEASE HELP!

ELLOOOO it me STRAWY HERE. Sooo i need help with Sony Vegas Pro 10, and idk if ur gonna unerstand me, buuuut, like in my video, the sims are outside, and i wanted a Lens Flare effect, but when they go inside, i dont want the Lens Flare effect but the Lens Flare effect is thre the WHOOOLE video, but i want it only in some parts, like in the outside parts! i clicked the Animate button, but i didnt unrstand anything about it XD So please help! c:
