Sims 3 Animation Help !! EMERGENCY

I have a couple of questions about trying to make sims 3 music videos:
1. How do i make my sim pose and sing at the same time ? Is there some special kind of pose for that ?
2. How do i get the animations work . I have downloaded the animation player + animations , but the animations arent being found in the game, just the player...
